The Joys and Trials of Religion

I was tagged by Corsette over at Pandora’s Bazaar.

Rules

  • 1. You have to use your own belief system for the meme. No fair using someone else’s to make a joke or satire. Being humorous about your own religion is encouraged!
  • 2. You have to have at least one joy and one trial. More are encouraged. And no, they don’t have to be equal in length, but please be honest.
  • 3. You have to tag at least one other person. More are appreciated!

Joys

  • 1. Inciting positive change in myself, others and the world.
  • 2. Dancing to the drum beat in celebration of my life, my path, my guides.
  • 3. Being able to heal old wounds through listening, love and faith.
  • 4. Constantly learning, changing, evolving.
  • 5. Challenging others constructively and then seeing their minds open.
  • 6. Experiencing each moment rather then observing it.

Trials

  • 1. Closed Minds.
  • 2. A lack of acknowledgment from other practitioners based solely on my age.
  • 3. Hate and discrimination on both side.
  • 4. Fear of the unknown, but knowing I have to go there.
  • 5. A general disrespect of the environment by my peers.
  • 6. Inciting positive change in myself, others and the world.
